Wilfred Laman
Wilfred Laman graduated from the University of Guelph with a BSC in Agricultural Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer with extensive HVAC, Solar Thermal and Photo-Voltaic Professional and managerial experience.
He has sat on several BODs most notablywith ASHRAE which at the time had 55,000+ international members. Wilfred served on ASHRAE’s Board for 3 fiscal years from 2007 thru 2009. He is also the recipient of ASHRAE’s Chapter Service Award, Regional Award of Meritand Distinguished Service Award.
He started his career as an Engineer in Training with Canadian Blower/Canada Pumps in 1987. Over the years he progressed within the company Canadian Director of Sales which was purchased by The Howden Fan Co. through 1995.
He Enviro-Tech HVAC Products (1995 - 2017) as a manufacturer’s representative and consulted for several companies. Laman had entered into the world of Renewables in 2007 working throughout North America for the integration and design of a solar thermal and photovoltaic solutions in several commercial and industry verticals.
Laman retired from the Solar Industry and his Sales and Consulting Business but he couldn’t sit still. He and his wife purchased Lion’s Head Beach Motel and Cottages in Lion’s Head Ontario. Lions Head Beachmotel
Here they both put their lifelong skills into action. They have seen the business grow year over year. Complementing the growth Laman has put his ASHRAE and Management knowledge into practice increasing energy efficient building solutions reducing the resort’s carbon foot print, reducing operating costs and increasing revenue.
Laman has also successfully completed Bruce County, Small Business Entrepreneur continuous educational program. He continues to volunteer locally and sat as a director on The Tobermory and District Chamber of Commerce.

Sandi Holst
Sandi was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. Sandi and her husband of 40 years, and their 5 cats left the big city in 2017 and now reside in Tobermory.
After losing Herb to a freak accident in Mexico in 2020, Sandi is inspired even more to be a part of the Bruce Peninsula community.
Sandi is a business owner for over 20 years and author of two books; “Breathe! You Got This” and “Simply Amazing Women”. Holstcontinuum
When she isn’t writing or supporting her clients you will find her snorkelling or hiking the Bruce Trail.
Besides, business and bookkeeping coaching, Sandi is a certified Passion Test Facilitator and enjoys helping people find their passions. Her passion is to inspire people to find their true passion and make their own jump into business.
It comes back to a philosophy she embraces: Life is not a dress rehearsal. Dare to dream, but more importantly dare to act on them.
Sandi has also cultivated a passion for photography. She has become aself-motivated student of the craft and has subsequently produced some amazing images for herself, for sale and for donation to help the cause for charitable organizations.
Sandi is taking pleasure with BPBA Inc., having the ability to offer up her experience with the financial and business industry. She is looking forward with this new path and looking forward to meeting like-minded people living on The Bruce.
