We can't speak for everyone, but for those of us who live on the Bruce Peninsula we are simply in love with being here. No matter what community or township we reside in, it seems we fell in love with the lifestyle at first sight. Some of us vacationed here as children and made it their goal to live here at some point in their life. Whether it is to start a business, work remotely away from the urban megatropolis or simply retire.  

The Bruce has families that go back generations to the first settlers. They made their mark by farming, fishing, logging, hunting, building homes and raising their families. Generation after generation, many stayed here to continue on that legacy. We happily live and work here.  

More and more people are moving somewhere on the Bruce year-round. It is a place that is completely different from the city lifestyle. It has an inspiring eco-system, it is peaceful and it is most certainly gentler on the soul.  

Life on the Bruce is about a friendly and supportive community. There is a strong sense of protection. With thousands of visitors every year, we endeavor to preserve what we have for generations to come.
