What We Say

Money

It is only Wednesday and already the entire week’s focus has been about MONEY!

It is always about not having enough and then asking myself “What is enough?” I know quite a few people in my inner circle who have plenty but don’t think they do. They are always striving and stressing how to get more.

Then there are others who most certainly do not have enough and paying the monthly bills is a challenge. What a world we live in that MONEY is our first priority and our health priorities slides down the to-do-list. However, we have to pay the bills and that is conundrum.

I posed the question to a friend last night that if we had all the money in the world would our current little issues just float away? For me, I would think life would certainly become easier. I would have more time freed up to absorb life and health and I would be able to tackle any challenges head on rather than spending the first 8 hours of everyday going to work.

Money doesn’t solve everything. We could still get sick, lose a loved one or deal with any other life threatening or disturbing challenges that could present themselves at any given moment. Having cash in the bank just makes it easier to know you don’t have to continue to find ways to pay the bills when you are also dealing with someother crisis ordisaster at the same time.

I still think our priorities are a little wonky. It isn’t about the largest house and how much we have, but the quality of the day. It’s also about how we feel, what makes us happy, laugh and enjoy life first. I am making slow and methodical changes to ensure the quality of my dayis my priority. If my blog sings to you this week, give us your point of viewand let us know what changes you are making,

Thanks,
