What We Say

Stepping up to new heights

I was reading a Facebook posting shared by Kerwin Rae. It was about a donkey who fell into a well. It wailed and cried for its owner to save him, but instead the owner decided to bury it alive as it was old and not usefulto him any longer. Fortune favored the donkey as the dirt was shoveled onto him, he shock it off and took a step up. More dirt, more steps up until he was able to walk out of the well.

Most likely not a true story as I question the physics side of things, but the moral caught my eye and hereit is:

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping and never givingup! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the simple rules to being happy:
  1. Free your heart from hatred. Forgive
  2. Whatever happened to you in the past –Let it go– You were likely not responsible!
  3. Free your mind from worries – Most never happen
  4. Live simply and appreciate what you have
  5. Give more
  6. Expect less from people but more from yourself

As always – Be Awesome
